Can you believe we drove 3 hours from one side of the island to the other to spend 30 minutes here and then drove 3 hours back again!!!

Despite that, it was worth it.....It serves as a quiet reminder of the terrible cost of war and forms a stark contrast to the sun, sea and sand that lie a few hundred yards away down the hill.
