New camera

A very poor shot of what I found in a charity shop for £10. It appears to be a film camera from about 2002. I recognise the MASP etc controls and it is very similar to my DSLR in appearance. I need to find some CR2 batteries (not going to pay £14 in Boots!) and some film. Haven't done used a film SLR since 1978 so a bit of catching up to do! Any advice/experience welcome. (The Nikkor 28-80mm lens on the F55 fits my D3000 with manual focus as well.)
