Accrington Stanley v Swindon Town

Trip to Accrington today to see Accrington Stanley v Swindon. And why not!

A friend of mine is a Swindon fan and after being depressed by getting relegated to the bottom League of English football, we decided to treat ourselves by going on a road trip to one of the smallest grounds in the country.

Certainly was an eye opener! Uncovered terracing and a building that resembled a portaloo as the toilet, you certainly felt like you were experiencing a different level of football than the money laden Premiership.

Being so close to the action I was very tempted to bring along my DSLR but changed my mind as I didn't fancy the hassle of stewards!
