It's a dog's life!

This Connie, one of our visitors at the moment. Both dogs are being perfect guests and we hardly know we've got them.

It's been a very busy day - had to go shopping first thing, then have an early lunch before the kids hour long tennis lesson at 1pm. Charlotte had a birthday party to go to at 3pm so once we got home after tennis she quickly got changed into her party dress, grabbed the present and we were off again picking up two of her friends on the way.

Glen and his dad quite literally made a break through with the house today. For the nearly 18 months that we've had a staircase in to access the loft we've had to crawl up the last few steps on hands and knees pretty because there just hasn't been the height there. Well now they've made a temporary roof and today they opened it all up under it so we no longer have to crawl. I can stand up to my full 5ft 2" height! Hooray!
