Autumn Light

This is my third autumn in blip, and the third year I have travelled past this gate hoping to catch the sun on the bracken. This morning the wind was whipping up waves on Ullswater. It made a good shot, but I was more eager to blip the low, bright, autumnal light.

I normally process in Lightroom followed by PS but I'd been watching a creativeLIVE tutorial by David Nightingale so I thought I'd give Photomatix Pro a go on 5 HDR images to get this one.
