Pampas

Another 'Blue Sky' production! I do love photos with a clear blue sky in the background and today's sky was a stunner. I spotted this pampas grass as I arrived at my dad's. The lighting was just perfect but as there are other trees around and a road just behind it I found it quite difficult to just get the pampas and the sky in the picture. I'm pleased to say that cropping and adjusting the highlights worked wonders and I'm really happy with this. I hope you like it too.

We had a very busy day today and I didn't achieve everything I set out to do. It was a friend's 50th birthday and I really enjoyed spending the time sitting in the autumn sun and talking to friends while enjoying the lovely food that my friend had prepared. Other than that I went clothes shopping this morning and visited my dad this afternoon. The gym was put on hold yet again which was rather unfortunate as I'm sure I've put weight on in the last 2 weeks since I last went! Working full-time has not been good for my figure :-(
