Boys will be Boys!

With our visitors, we met up with mutual friends for lunch today, on the river at the Ulmarra pub about 30 minjutes drive from here. It is a great spot with a big outdoor area under the trees and umbrellas right on the river bank. I took some lovely shots of the view, black swans, boats etc until we spotted these boys in the park next to the pub. They were wrapping either bubble wrap or glad wrap around the handle bars of the bike and we weren't quite sure what for. That is until we saw the little ramp being put in place on the jetty. They then proceeded to ride the bike down the hill, onto the ramp and into the river, over and over again. What fun! I guess the bubble wrap was for floatation so the bike didn't end up sinking to the bottom of the river! Talk about making their own fun - and good to see them not just sitting in front of a tv set or computer game. I'm just not sure if their parents would have known what they were up to though.
