Party #1 (for us)

This is the drink du jour of today's party (vodka & pink lemonade) pictured against the piano- shaped pool of Frank Sinatra's Palm Springs home (in the background).
We (and 80 other guests) had drinks, nibbles, swimming (not compulsory), fantastic buffet and entertainment from a classy band, the pianist of which had actually played with Frank.
It ended, as all things must, with karaoke played by musicians who are way above it, sung by guests way out of it.
A fine night. Party #2 tomorrow.
