Manly beach Sunday

what a tough life folk have here! Glorious sunshine, all ages hanging out at the beach.. Surfing, skateboarding, on scooters, walking, running, kayaking, sunbathing, sitting around and just catching up.

And what a tough day we've had - our first surf in Australia. I use the term 'surf' loosely - since our boards still haven't arrived and it was pretty flat we hired some foamies (soft surfboards) and paddled around catching the odd mushburger (wave of not the greatest quality, often found on Scottish shores!). We're both super unfit and haven't surfed in ages so it was just perfect!!

It really is awesome here and this is the weather only just getting going! Can't wait to get into shape and be living nearer the beach.

And now for Australia Vs new Zealand... And who to support?!
