Autumn sunshine

Lovely day today, I wasn't going to stay in so after doing a little bit of shopping for my dad me & hubby went out to soak up the sunshine!
Tynemouth first, sat and watched the boats go by (surely this is what the old folk do?!) The sky was so blue today. This is a statue of Lord Collingwood (1845 & 1848/9) Sculptor: John Graham Lough Architect: John Dobson
Location: Pier Road, Tynemouth. Materials: Marble and Sandstone. Status: Listed Grade II.
Cuppa tea & cheese scone (we are definitely getting old!) Drove along the coast to Newcastle quayside and sat & had a beer (well hubby did) at PitchernPiano with the most fantastic view over the river. Was tempted to blip this view once again but went with the Lord!
Finished of with tea at Piccolinos then on to babysit little Freddie.
