Family
My sister lives in Melbourne, with her husband and three kids. They come down a couple of times a year, and I always intend on visiting them, but never quite get there. So it was pretty exciting to get a bonus visit this weekend when niecey came down for a birthday treat with daddy (he had a work thing), leaving mummy and the boys to their own devices back home. So today we had a big lunch, with all the family and friends, over at the in-laws'. The weather's been suitably springy lately - pouring torrents of rain followed by beautiful sun, and galeforce winds five minutes later. So during a sunny spell the kids went outside to play cricket, while the adults did boring conversation stuff. And outside was so much more interesting for my camera.
Got some lovely shots of some of the kids individually, but I don't like putting them online without permission of the parents, so here's the best of the rest.
Didn't get any work done on my essay whatsoever, but got to eat homemade strawberry icecream. I think that's a decent trade off.
Have backblipped yesterday, and covered a few more days of my exchange last year:
