Botallack

I've been child free since late yesterday afternoon, so this morning I indulged in a lie in, followed by a walk around my favourite place on the planet. I just love it here, so much history and mystery! The mine here extends right out under the sea, can't imaging how terrifying it must have been to work down there with the sea roaring away overhead. I saw a couple of cornish Choughs flying around, it's great to see that the breeding programme has been successful (but so far my attempts to photograph them haven't been quite so successful!)
I would have liked to get another sweep of coastline into this shot but this was the best I could manage without splattering myself onto the rocks below.
Right, best go and do something productive before my cherub arrives :)
