Small, pink and (about to be) faintly embarressing

I am very pleased with my camera which I bought for my daughter's wedding and is small enough to fit easily in a handbag or pocket. 80% of the time it does just what I want it to...and of the other 20% at least 10 is my fault (how can it take photos in dark places if I don't have the flash on, for example?) But tomorrow my lovely pink camera could be going to be a bit of an embarressment.

Trev has signed us up for a photography day as part of a group with a local photographer and I fear that my camera may be a source of barely disguised hilarity. I have been trying to think of things to say:
*OMG! I've forgotten my camera and only got this which I always have in my pocket! (Down-side: people will think 'the woman's an idiot'. This is something I prefer people to take their time to decide.
* I am trying to decide what camera to buy (Down-side: by the end of the day I will have had so much information from helpful people that I will be brain-dead.)

Any advice received with thanks...otherwise whenever I take a photo I will just turn my back and hope no one notices!
