Ring tailed lemurs being fed

Such a lovely day weatherwise today, so Kryptomart and I made the most of it by going to visit the Five Sisters Zoo at West Calder, West Lothian.

We decided to visit and show our support for their campaign to raise £80k to save 3 bears (Carmen, Suzy & Peggy) that are currently in small cages in Belgium, having endured a life of extreme hardship. Once they have achieved the donation target the bears will be brought over to the zoo for their retirement (these things make me upset!).

If you have the opportunity, the zoo is well worth a visit and they have adorable lemurs (see above), wallabies, racoons etc.
