Glenskirlie Castle

Not a real castle however, this is only a few years old and is a popular wedding and dining venue.
Adjacent is the older Glenskirlie House where Maggie and I shared a lovely lunch with FD55 and Gourmets Gold. Superb house favourite steak pies all round!

Back home for a cup of tea and a biscuit and then time to get Rona walked. Up to Stirling University to check out those autumn colours. Sadly they are not as much in evidenceas they should be. Some trees are already bare and some are still fairly green while others have leaves that look brown and scorched. A few, birches and beeches, are looking as they ought. Funny weather!
However, Antiques Roadshow and Downton to look forward to later this evening.
