Migration

This photo cannot really begin to capture the event, but it's my best guess. The skies above West Linton were deafeningly loud with the sound of thousands of migrating geese, which I am told will winter in the area. Skein after skein after skein passed over. I've never seen or heard anything like it! Pity the camera can only record rather that recreate the experience.
