Anchored

Once again I spent a portion of my remaining time in Orkney being driven around looking for photo opportunities to impress you all with. As usual from all the shots I took I only have one or two that I am really happy with! I do love this picture though. This anchor is just set next to the sea on the way out of Holm village just before you cross the Churchill barriers. There was no notice there to tell you anything about it but we suspected it may have been from one of the block ships that was sunk there during the second world war. So much history in this place its a photographers dream :)
