Bridge over the Atlantic
We are now up staying at Connel 5 miles north of Oban. Anything to extend the holiday a bit!
This is the old bridge at Clachan which spans the Atlantic Ocean. As you can see it is a fun bridge to drive over (quite scary really!).
Just over the Bridge on Seil Island is the old Inn called Tigh-an-Truish translation is "Inn of the Trousers!! " This dates back to when the old Inn was used by the Islanders after the Jacobite Rising of 1745 to change from their trousers into the forbidden Kilt when returning to the Island.
Back Home tomorrow - Thanks for all the comments on my back blips, I will catch up with commenting when I get home.
B :-)
