Day at the museum
Today we headed off to Edinburgh on the train - always a nice adventure for the girls! Wandered along Princes Street, checked out the National Gallery (Biggest Miss very excited to see an actual Van Gogh!), lunch then into the National Museum of Scotland (with a quick look at Greyfriar's Bobby on the way in).
It's the first time we've been to the museum since they did the big refurb and it was absolutely fantastic :) So many interesting things to see and very child friendly so lots of fun stuff to do and learn about. And all free so totally, brilliantly, worth a visit. And the space within the museum is just stunning - I love these big old Victorian buildings and the bright main hall is just beautiful.
