Deer Little Miss

Out and about today this is what we happened to see. She's a young whitetail deer, probably turned a year old this past late spring. She was quite happily nibbling away on the vegetation. She was certainly in a scrubby location with all those dead weeds and things, but that's pretty much where they thrive. She may look startled, but she had just glanced up and then went back to eating.

The DIY project here at home is just about complete. Hurrah.... I'll have to go back to my regular job tomorrow to rest up from this weekend.. LOL
