A bee before church

Caught in the act on the bee bush. I got to church way to early today considering that I thought I was scheduled to read but wasn't, but then got to fill in anyway. While I was indulging in my daily practice of photography, I got what I think is a very nice picture of a bee. Now Mara will say, "Not another bee, grandma" and "where am I?", and I have to agree with her that I have too many bee pictures, I do find them incredibly fascinating and worth chasing around the bee plant. I was really hoping for one in flight, but this bee has a nice face.

After church I took my bike out for a ride and left my cameras in the car :-(. It turned out that I made it to the BIG pedestrian bridge over I-40 which has quite spectacular views. I guess this means I get to repeat the ride :-) with the cameras. It was 8 miles, pretty good for a fat old lady newly returned to the bike after a year and a half off for hip replacement.
