Sedgwick Falls

Spent a lovely day in the Autumn sunshine walking the course of the disused Lancaster Kendal Canal and then back down the River Kent. It's only a short circuit but always plenty to see from the Dark Fallow Deer and Bagot Goats in Levens Park, late butterflies on the flowering Ivy, various fungi, birds along the river. Went with the intention of shooting the leaping Salmon at the falls. Best two hours after high tide. Sadly there was not too much action in the fish department but it was livened up by the canoeist shooting the falls.
