Stratford Station

This is Stratford station by Wilkinson Eyre Architects, completed in 1999. It's a great space for a public transport interchange, with an almost airport quality to it. More information here.

This evening I have been on a wild goose chase across London to try and buy an Airport Express from an Apple store. After work I legged it from Clerkenwell over to Stratford Westfield centre on the Central Line, which was boiling and overcrowded. When i got their i wasn't surprised to find they had sold out of the blooming things, despite been reassured on the phone at lunchtime that they would have some in stock in the evening. All London Apple stores are now sold out of Airport Express' which is very very annoying.
