Evacuate the Train

My boyfriend found tickets to go see the Colbert Report, kind of last minute, and we both happened to be off from work today. We've been trying to get tickets for the show for months, but I woke up feeling not-so-good, and I guess I felt that way for a reason....

Only a few stops into our train ride to the city, at Massapequa Park, our train was evacuated due to a "fatality". After a few minutes of standing outside the train, we found out someone had committed suicide by jumping onto the tracks in front of our train. Swarms of cop cars, an ambulance, the fire chief, the news, and spectators showed up as the police kicked us off the platform, without giving us any information as to when we'd get back on the (or any) train. The body ended up under the car my boyfriend and I were sitting in... The whole ordeal took about an hour and half and it was too late to make the show.

No i didn't see the body or any blood, but still.... Holy shit.
