Sherborne Pack Monday Fair

This evening we drove to Sherborne where there was a street market.

It dates back to medieval times and is held annually in Sherborne on the first Monday after 10th October - old Michaelmas Day.

It's still a major event in Sherborne with four of the town's main streets becoming full of street traders and food stalls for the day, and a funfair is usually held on the edge of town on the Monday and the days preceding it.

It was great to do something different on a 'school night'.

Just about anything you care to think of was on sale.
