Big Screen Games

This is the big screen on Humberstone Gate in the city centre.
Most of the time it just shows news, weather and local videos.
This week it`s doing interactive games to promote the Olympics.
The people in front of the screen, position themselves when instructed to stand in an inset box shown on the screen. They are then captured by thermal imaging and projected onto the screen to take part in various games. The one these people are doing is bashing ducks as they come flying across the screem by basically waving their arms about and making swatting motions with their hands. If they swat a duck they get a point...
It`s nationwide thing and at the end of the game you can see if you`ve beaten other cities who are taking part
