The End of the Day

An evening stroll along the beach helped blow off the cobwebs. Clone Beach in Wexford was a perfect setting. The light was soft and warm from the days sunshine. Fishermen lined the shore with their little tents and waited patiently for a bite. They were in a competition and explained to us how it worked. Apparently the fisherman with the biggest fish wins, verified by two rival fishermen on either side of them. They were still there when we were leaving at about 6pm.

Home in time to watch 'Downton Abbey':)
