Night Sports at UMass

Our bird club meets monthly in Amherst, just outside the sprawling campus of the University of Massachusetts. To reach it we pass these fields, and I took this shot with my point-and-shoot after tonight's meeting.

The presentation at the club meeting was on warblers of the Eastern United States; it was excellent, with numerous informative photographs (I experienced a few envious moments, I have to admit).

As for tonight's blip (best viewed large), there are four activities/practices/contests in progress (on the strips of brightly lit grass, from front to back); I am not sure what sports (in the foreground may be field hockey).
