Vine

My neighbour's Virginia Creeper vine threatened to engulf my yard and my house every year but how can I resist this colour? It also attracts wonderful birds who munch on the berries.

So the creeper and I have reached a compromise. I give it regular trims throughout the summer but still let it cover the fence and my back window so I can luxuriate in its beauty and the birds can get breakfast after a long night's migration.

It's good to be back!
