Soft Kitty

I visited a childminder that I really, really like today. At the moment she only has a place for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, which I cannot take. However, she might have 2 vacancies coming up. And she's trying to persuade a friend to get registered and work with her, so she would be able to increase her numbers. And the best part about it is that she lives 2 minutes away! Actually, the best part about it is that she wouldn't charge me for the school holidays.

She's got all my details and will let me know if these other 2 places become vacant, they are both for 5 days a week, so I could initially sign her up for the 5 days and then change them when work finally let me know what's happening.

I will still keep looking of course, because it might not work out. However, if she does increase her numbers, there's no reason why I couldn't switch Elizabeth over from somebody else. I imagine it would take a while to get registered as a childminder.

We went back to the music club today. Elizabeth smiled when we did 'Soft Kitty'. When we sing 'purr, purr, purr', we tickle them on the chin, and that's when she smiled. So cute! It's off now for the Easter holidays. :(

And I managed to fall asleep with Elizabeth when I put her down for a nap this afternoon. So there was me, Elizabeth and Jasper all asleep on the bed together.
