Oil Seed Rape Plants

Walking the dogs in the rain today - made a change.

These plants are in the fields that were being spread with lime on saturday - you can see a bit of discolouring in some of the droplets and some lumps of lime. With all this lovely weather these plants are much further forward than normal - more like small cabbages!

Started digging out the sunken pergola (see Sunday) had only got down 18 inches so I thought I might get away with it - my wife came home to say that her request for 2 feet was a joke!!!!! She thought it would be about six inches - the good news is I haven't got to go any deeper - the bad news is I could have done a third of the work!
