Hogsmeade

I have to confess ... I just do not like theme parks.

As I mentioned yesterday, we planned an overnight stay at a Universal Hotel to get early entry to see Harry (bloody) Potter. However, last night there were weather warnings galore and small hurricanes forecast. So, to cut an awful long story short - I took Lois myself to see the park. We were at the gates at 0730 hrs (what an ungodly hour on holiday!) and I kid ye not, when the gates opened at 0740 hrs, grown adults were sprinting to get to rides in a complete frenzy. Come on !

However, we did manage to get on all the rides Lois wanted to go on before 0830 hours. Bonus - we could leave early? Oh no, we had to ride them again (and one in paticular, again and again!).

PS - 2 glasses of Butterbeer cost $23 (disgusting but you get to keep the cups!) and a wand cost $32.
