Three Little Pigs

One of the sows on the farm we cycle past regularly has finally had her litter; the one in the middle doesn't even seem to have opened it's eyes yet - certainly Mum was anxious to make sure it didn't stray far from the sty!

The theme for woollyhedge's October On This Day Challenge is Science, being the anniversary of the isolation of the antibiotic, Streptomycin. In celebration, we had our flu jabs today, which of course protect against swine flu - how's that for a really tenuous connection?!
