Glasgow city chambers

Some great clouds yesterday.

I'm intrigued by the statues that flank the cupolas (is that right?) at the top of the chambers. From a distance, they look like real people, and in certain lights, it's very disconcerting. Reminds me of Wings of Desire - I keep thinking Bruno Ganz may be watching over us.
