Newly Painted Lines

Just before winter new lines are painted on the roadways. This street is called Rainbow Road.

Coincidentally: the two figures on the left are a local business man and our incumbent regional director who is running for a second term. Hmmm.. wonder what they are talking about.

Local politics is very volatile because living on an island requires a certain amount of dedication. Therefore the residents are motivated to be involved in local issues, particularly if they come from provincial or federal governments. Makes for spirited discussions.
