Exploring the pebble beach on Geoje Island, where we're spending a few days staying in a nice little pension by a river along with Lucy's brother, Tae Wang.

The large island was once fairly isolated, but the construction of a large bridge linking it to the mainland created an industrial boom, spawning steel, cement, and ship building companies aplenty.
Tae Wang lives here at the moment, working for Posco, the world's third largest steel company. Whilst all the industry has certainly ruined parts of the island, it still has plenty of beautiful coastline, which is dotted with islands and rocky outcrops - a beautiful signature sight along much of Korea's south coast.

We ended the evening on the deck outside our pension, barbecuing pork wrapped in lettuce leaves with chilli paste. Delicious.
