Walk into Camden

I've been in Australia for 2 weeks now, and have come to the conclusion that nobody walks over here! Now, don't get me wrong, it's a big country, but it's 25 minutes walk from where I live in a residential area to the nearest big town but on the 2 occasions that I have done it, I have passed 3 people!! Oh well, I enjoy the walks anyway!!
