Heron Avenue

I went back to one of my winter blip locations at Marazion today for the first time in a few months. There is an RSPB sanctuary one side of the road and St Michaels mount on the other so there is never a shortage of things to photograph but unfortunately its impossible to park there from May until October.

I chose the birds today and an avenue in the reeds that always seems to be full of Herons. They might like it as its safely away from humans or maybe because there's lots of food but I suspect they know it looks pretty and they are just showing off !
