Back to Basics
This is the view of Dirleton Castle, across the golf course from Archerfield House, East Lothian.
At this time of year the sun comes up directly behind the castle, giving this lovely silhouette.
It has always been a personal quirk of mine to take landscape shots with a tele lens. I like the foreshortening effect, and the misty quality. Perhaps, a bit like Monet's paintings, this just represents the way my eyes work.
Back to basics, because I have decided to give the GIMP a rest and just do what I do for now.
