A world record?

Believe it or not behind these gates world records have been broken. Not by me of course; although I did run competitively there when I was a teenager, but by world class athletes who competed here for three decades.

This is the rear entrance to Edinburgh's Meadowbank Stadium - not since the fat crook Robert Maxwell paraded round here during the Commonwealth games of 1986 has the place looked so shabby.
