25 Trees

What a lovely day! JeanneB53 and I walked from the village, down to the ford and along the canal to meet friend Marita for lunch and catch up at Vicars in Saltaire. Afterwards we took a stroll round Salt's Mill and I picked up some postcards to send to itchythumbs then we continued our walk along the canal to Shipley to meet yearofhappy for tea and scones at the wonderful Interlude Cafe, which is like stepping back into the 1920s!

David Hockney, artist, exhibits permanently at the Gallery in Salt's Mill. 25 trees is his latest exhibit and shows the trees on a street in Bridlington during three different seasons. I'm not a fan of much of Hockney's work, but I like this one.
