Skiing Doo :: Saunas, Showers & Sledges

The snowline on the Cairngorms has steadily crept lower all week, a nippy 1ºC on the outdoor thermometer this morning, ground level staying just the right side of fff-freezing.

Sauna, Shower or Sledge... the first two options may seem the more inviting after a full day outdoors, though chunky soup and legendary dime-bar cake are also available here at Glenmore - just the job after a long wet bike-trip through Rothiemurcus. Surely there's got to be limited call for the beach tennis sets though, as October rolls on and winter steadily approaches.
