Super hero

My day off today, but you know its going to be a good day when you come down stairs after sleeping in and your daughter says "daddy, today we are going to be superhero's"

We have established previously that my family are the next generation of X-men, but Ruby reminds me today of Flash from Daddy Day Care

Two minutes later she runs & bumps full force into the livingroom door while doing her superman run and lands on her back side, her retort is simply "dont worry Dad, Im alright" although she looks like she wants to cry, she is being superhero brave.

Ohh that had to smart a bit, I actually flinch at the impact, might be best if we ruled out x-ray vision from our list of super powers.

Eric and Dad comes over and Mario fits a new radiator in my livingroom for me, the old one was knackered, while Luigi and I chew the fat and drink tea.

They then spend the new few hours debating what might be the problem with the golf gti and discover that a vaacum hose might be the offending item. Its like a scene out of scrap heap challenge with two team experts debating what bit to weld first.

I spend the day, laughing, cooking, making dinners and being the tea boy. They stay for dinner and we have a laugh for the rest of the evening. We discover that Eric sees motorbiking dead people and likes chicken curry. Ruby has taken to him and spends most of the day with the opening word of "Erriccckkkk"

My day ends with the same manner it started, she says Daddy, Love You, Night Night, Sweet Dreams.
