Well balanced

Tonight I was my wife's +1 at the SMWS Good Company event at SMWS's Queen Street venue. We bumped into Mr H when we were there. Being a whisky aficianado he has the art of holding 2 sample whiskies and some of the gorgeous food in one hand down to a fine art. We appeared to be guinea pigs for their Christmas menu, but we didn't mind one jott. The whisky was devine too. Being my first proper tasting it was a real experience to sniff, swirl, check the colour and sample, add a dab of water and enjoy it again. If I am allowed I'd go again ;-)

There was also a prize draw for a couple of prizes - Dinner for 2 at 28 QS, and a bottle of whisky. Well I didn't bloody well go and win the whisky. Oh yes siree!

I am now the proud owner of the last bottle of SMWS 7.70 (Naughty Nectar).
