(Some) Men at Work

Another break from decorating today with an afternoon trip into Edinburgh with my sons (one off to a seminar on Japanese history and the other accompanying me on a photographic 'wander'). Saw an awful lot of workmen today but only these three appeared to actually be doing any work....the rest of them seemed to be gathered (in large groups) looking into holes in the ground. Before we spotted these three we did see another one who appeared to be doing some work...but no, false alarm....'he's only moving something out of his way dad...so he can get over to that hole in the ground to look in'.

I think it all has something to do with (not) building tram lines.

Lesson of the day: never try and cover yellow paint with red paint in anything less than four coats....Grrrr!!!
