A day of reflection

Not just literally. I had to make some time for myself today, and walked along a nearby canal to clear my head after an emotionally charged start to the day. It didn't really work, but I did find a few minutes of clarity. Staring into water has always helped me to find some stillness. It's the first time I've seen a boat moored here, and I must have spent ten minutes just watching the ripples of light travelling across the hull.
