spot the giant rubik's cube, maroubra beach

oh no, another sunny beach blip! i hear some of you think... however, for your benefit, i have taken the focus off the sunshine and beach, thanks to this most random of objects at maroubra beach.

not hard to spot. i have no idea what the story is behind this incongruous object on the beach?

so, another easy day in sydney. a run this morning, to which Top Gun's 'Danger Zone' came on on my ipod, and made me laugh out loud as the only danger zone i was entering was that of a snail going into cardiac arrest. soooo unfit.

and then an hour or so reading on today's beach of "the wanderlust's beach tours" - maroubra. i was picking up some luggage we air freighted across...the depot was only 10 minutes from the beach - so it would have been rude not to visit. finally we have our surfboards! this company promised us we'd have them in 3-5 days - and it's taken 3 weeks... anyhow, all is well that ends well and we now have more clothing and our boards to enjoy.
