Kookaburra...

So pleased to see this bird come and perch near me and my granddaughter. (We were waiting in a park while her elder sister went to a doctor for a peanut allergy test.) The bird hopped around and let me get quite close, and I was very happy to get my first Aussie birdblip!
It was good news about the allergy too, which seemed to be improving so hopefully soon Edie won't have to be so careful about the contact with peanuts.
