I've been meaning to try a sunrise for ages, but I don't like getting up early. Then a colleague pointed out to me that when the clocks change, the sunrise will happen an hour earlier. That was it, I was trying it this week.

I roped in a friend to walk to Old John with me as there is a perfect view of the horizon from up there. As we walked up, the noise that the stag was making frightened us half to death.

The deer stayed out of the way, but the stag did oblige with a silhouette before he wandered off.
