Nature day after day

Having a snooze

I'd just been out looking for something to blip when I saw this ball of feathers in a bush bordering our garden with the neighbours one. The ball of feathers is a female House Sparrow and I actually managed to get one or two feet away from her while Blackbirds and Dunnocks were moving in the undergrowth nearby. She just cuddled in some more, looking so sweet in sleep, but when a Blackbird alarm-called she woke up, looked at me with her little beady eyes and then hopped further away. Awwww!!! I think she should count herself very lucky that I wasn't a cat!
